The ”optimistic party indie pop” group Auntie Mary, as the band describes itself plays standard indie rock mixed with jangly, playful guitar melodies and elements from electronic dance music. The five-member-band is influenced by music from the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys.
The new single Tenterhooks released on 5th of March features pumping drumming and stuttering guitar rhythms combined with repetitive pop choruses, vocal harmonies and sparkling synthesizers. The track has been produced, recorded and mixed by Mikko Tiainen (Auntie Mary's guitar player).
